Tosha Owens is one of Detroit finest Blues/Soul singers. She belongs to the next generation of legends to come from the Motor City. Brett Lucas and Tosha teamed up to write and record her first album Wrong Side of Right. Since then it has won many Detroit Music Awards.
This combination proved to be very dynamic; resulting in seven co-written songs, including the featured video single “Cold In Detroit Tonight”. There’s also three of Brett’s original compositions featured and two choice covers. Tosha’s does justice with Janis Joplin’s “Half Moon” and a fun party version of Ray Charles’ “Ain’t That Love.”
Not only does Wrong Side of Right feature some of Brett’s finest guitar work and Tosha’s greatest vocal performances, but it also features some of Detroit’s top musicians including Chuck Bartels, Max Bauhof, Even Mercer, Bobby Murray, Rachel Williams, Keith Kaminski, John Douglas and many more! This is an album not to be missed.
